Bremen Pony League Rules
- Age eligibility shall be determined on a calendar year as follows: players must be thirteen (13) before June 1st; and/or not turn sixteen (16) before April 30th.
- All rules that are stated are amendments to Indiana High School Baseball Rules:
Otherwise all IHSAA baseball rules govern.
- Only nine (9) players may play the field: there Must be ten (10) hitters in the batting order, I.E. extra hitter if enough players are present.
- Bat weight ratio Must be -3oz.
- Teams may start and end the game with eight players. Once a player arrives he may enter the lineup at the bottom of the batting order and may enter the game immediately if that players team is in the field.
- Games will be six (6) innings in length and have a one and a half (1:30) hour time limit.
- There will be a ten (10) run mercy rule after 4 innings of play.
- No player may pitch more than six (6) innings in a three (3) day span.
- A courtesy runner shall be optional for the catcher when two (2) outs occur, this must be someone from the bench or whomever made the last out.
- Every single player must play at least three (3) innings in the field of every single game that he attends (exception is if that player is the extra hitter the whole game), unless the player is not in good standing with the coach and the league board.
- There shall be no designated hitter allowed.
- Players, Coaches and/or Spectators may at NO TIME question or appeal calls made on the field by the Umpires.
- Any Player and/or Coach ejected from a game by a Board member only, will be suspended for that game and the next game played by the team.
- Only fastballs and change-ups may be allowed to be thrown by all pitchers during games.
- If a player becomes injured during play, then his spot must be filled by a bench player, if no bench player is available then this spot in the lineup is eliminated.
